Although not really used that much in a Transporter style conversion, when you move up to the bigger vans skylights are an excellent way of getting light and ventilation into a vehicle.

There are plenty of choices out there but over the years we have found the ones that work well in a panel van based conversion, and here they are:

The MPK VisionStart Pro is a great skylight.  The bar operation allows it to be opened to any angle.  The net and blind's are great quailty.

Maxxair MaxxFan Deluxe

The Maxxair is a ceiling-mounted fan that has a built-in rain shield dome on the roof.  You can use this fan system in most weathers to extract or pull in fresh air.  The unit is powered by 12v and has a remote control.  Pair this with a standard skylight to really keep the air moving around you van and help keep the temperatures under control.
