A Brief History Of Mark1 Conversions...

Inspired by a love of the outdoors life and years of camping, Mark1 Conversions was born. With a passion for modern VW’s and the versatility and reliability of these iconic vans. The story began with our own private conversions and over the years the feedback received encouraged us to make it into a profession and our engineering background ensure that each vehicle we convert is of a high standard.

By 2013 larger premises were required and the business had grown enough to enable Lee to join Mark as a full-time partner.

In 2018 we moved again to even larger premises giving us much needed space and the opportunity to install dedicated equipment such as our 2 post lift.

Each van is given our undivided attention and we work on them personally to ensure a finish we can be proud of. We do not aim to be the quickest but we do aim for perfection and our customers tend to agree. Trading since 2009 we are proud to boast a multitude of satisfied customers. We rely largely on word of mouth and our ever-growing trade is a testament to our work, which we guarantee with a 12-month warranty and we are fully insured to cover your vehicle whilst it is in our care.

We always aim to return your emails and messages as soon as we can, but we are a very busy workshop, and demand quite often outweighs the available time, we appreciate every one of you that contacts us, but please bear with us and if you don’t get your response as quickly as you would like, feel free to give us a nudge, please be assured we do our best to keep on top, but our priority is always the quality of the production in the workshop; Once your van is in our workshop, you have our highest levels of attention and care!

We also prioritise aftercare service as we like to treat our customers as we would want to be treated, we are not about getting the sale and then never to be seen again.
