Windows Options 1024 754 Lee Baker

This article is aimed at explaining the differences between the styles of windows we can offer.

Bonded Windows:

Here at Mark1 Conversions, we are big fans of bonded windows.  A huge step forward they use glass preshaped to your specific vehicle and are basically glued to the outside of the van.  This means all the cutting is protected inside the van removing the risk of the elements eating away at your van as you used to see with older style windows.

Our bonded windows are usually 80% privacy tint.  Making them look dark on the outside, but not too dark on the inside.  We can also supply OEM Green (or Clear) glass.   They can come in fixed or opening versions, and the opening can be a half or top slider.  But options do vary from van to van, the most popular vans having larger choice of windows available.

Bonded windows are only available in single plain glass, meaning if you want a double glazed unit then a Dometic (or Seitz as they used to be called) window may be a better option.  They come in a variety of styles and sizes giving them great flexibility.
